I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, and free to choose those who shall govern my country.” - -The Rt. Hon. John Diefenbaker, Canadian Bill of Rights, 1960

The whole judicial system is at issue, it's worth more than one person.”--Serge Kujawa, Saskatchewan Crown Prosecutor, 1991

Today I read in the news that "Canada's governments have an ethical obligation to establish a no-fault compensation plan to help victims of future tainted-blood tragedies," Justice Horace Krever said yesterday.

As I have been writing about the philosophy of no-fault approaches to governments and businesses, the murmur of the word "no-fault" makes my brain cells go into resonance or high gears, ready to take the next step, shortly to explode.

Where is due diligence and good faith in our governments and businesses? With no-fault approaches to governments and businesses there is no more due diligence and there is no more good faith.

  • No-fault is synonymous of BIG BROTHER,
  • no-fault is synonymous of NO RESPONSIBILITY,
  • no-fault is synonymous of DON'T CARE,
  • no-fault is synonymous of WASTE,
  • no-fault is synonymous of NO INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM,
  • no-fault is synonymous of CORPORATE CORRUPTION,
  • no-fault is synonymous of GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION,
  • no-fault is synonymous of MEDIOCRITY,
  • no-fault is synonymous of the LAW OF THE STATISTICAL AVERAGE,
  • no-fault is synonymous of the DEPERSONALIZATION OF PEOPLE,
  • no-fault is synonymous of a DECADENT STATUS QUO,
  • no-fault is synonymous of the TYRANNY OF DEMOCRACY.
