As I learn of more violence and more killings in the Middle East
while thousands of American and Coalition forces hunt down Al Queda
and Taliban runaways I ask myself what's going on in our civilized
world.
Our civilized world is the world of politics, the so-called real
world, the world where the little 'white lies' surfacing from every
angle of the world have concentrated to become the BIG LIE of the
Free Market, where anything goes in the name of money and power.
Today, the BIG LIE is best represented by the Bush
administration. President Bush says that we have to fight terrorism
at any cost and while he is spending close to half of all world's
military spending we are experiencing more violence abroad and more
inequalities at home. George Bush Jr. had no clue of what was good
for the people while he was governor of Texas, and he doesn't know
what is good for his own country and for the world either.
The concentrated corporate media has been telling us that George
Bush changed overnight on 9-11 to become the white knight for the
poor and defenseless, and instead he has become the mirror of his
axis of evil as his second shadow government holes up in some
leftover American bunkers of the cold war. The Bush administration
is spreading fear at home and abroad as we learn that this George
with no clothes has prepared contingency plans for possible American
nuclear attacks against North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Russia, China,
Syria, Libya, Russia and China.
George Bush has stated that the United States is united in its
resolve to defeat terrorism, but this unity is achieved more with
the spreading of lies and fear among people than by a genuine will
for peace. US House Representative Dennis Kucinich has recently
stated that "there is a deeper truth expressed in the unity of
the United States. That implicit in the union of our country is the
union of all people. That all people are essentially one."
We must have a stronger resolve than Bush's push for spreading
lies and fear, so that we can finally see the truth away from the
caves of Afghanistan or the bunkers of the United States. Thank you
US House Representative Dennis Kucinich.
