I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, and free to choose those who shall govern my country.” - -The Rt. Hon. John Diefenbaker, Canadian Bill of Rights, 1960

The whole judicial system is at issue, it's worth more than one person.”--Serge Kujawa, Saskatchewan Crown Prosecutor, 1991

If you think that Timothy Shire has lost his noodles when he says that the movies Monsters, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings have more realism and common sense than the foreign and domestic policies of any national governments you must rethink because he is right.

Today's foreign and domestic governmental policies are all grounded in the neoclassical science of Economics and this science has been labeled AUTISTIC or in few words as the wishful rational science of the Chicago School of Economics created by Nobel prize winner Melton Friedman and his wife Rose. So to make things straight, I must tell you that the United States government headed by President George Bush Jr. is an autistic government with an autistic president, an autistic cabinet and autistic domestic and foreign policies. And the most recent example of autistic economics has occurred as 'due to gross mismanagement and insurmountable debt, energy company Enron today confessed to what many observers had long suspected: it is actually Argentina... Enron chairman and CEO Kenneth Lay, speaking through an interpreter via phone from Buenos Aires, apologized for any confusion the subterfuge may have caused, and noted that as a sovereign nation, the company was immune from U.S. prosecution. Lay also insisted that he had not fled to Argentina, but had returned home to the capital to visit mi familia.'

I read the latest article "Laissez Not Fair" by economist Paul Krugman and he says that the above 'satire was more on point than its authors realized. Not long ago Argentina, like Enron, was a darling of the financial community... Argentina's monetary system, in particular, was lauded in the pages of Forbes and The Wall Street Journal, and feted at libertarian think tanks.'

We must not despair about the prevalent governmental autistic policies polluting the western atmosphere as the deception of the Chicago School of Economics has been uncovered. In fact, many scholars and citizens are rolling up their sleeves to design a more imaginative science of economics and some of their work is mentioned in the web site managed by the Post-Autistic Economics Network.
