"We'll let our friends be the peacekeepers and the
great country called America will be the pacemakers."--President
George W. Bush Jr. (George W. Bushisms, January 2001)
We live in a dangerous very dangerous world. We have been trying
to understand our societal organizations and our economic settings
only to discover the failures of our governments, the failure of our
own institutions, the failure of our own justice system and the
			failure of the Free Market.
We have expressed our reservations to combat terrorism with
unilateral military power along with the Free Market, when there is
no common (international) definition of terrorism, when there is no
definition of goals, when there is no social benefit from the Free
			Market.
What I am thinking today is about two items: propaganda and
corruption. And I am thinking about these two items as I become more
concerned about the predicament of our own planet as our coalition
partners Pakistan and India are on the verge of fighting each other
and as I am learning more and more about the Bush family and their
liaisons with the arms industry and the energy industry.
The book "The Betrayal of America" by Vincent Bugliosi contends
that George W. Bush Jr. has not been elected by the American
electorate but appointed by the Supreme Court. I ordered the book
"Fortunate Son: George W. Bush and the Making of an American
President" by J. H. Hatfield when I realized that th author was
driven to commit suicide after having been harassed, humiliated and
made pennyless by the Bush electoral machinery.
Now I find that there are many books around fingering the
corruption or inadequacy of President George W. Bush Jr. Is it true
what these books say about George W. Bush? As usual we must make our
own opinions, but one rule of the game I have personally learnt
about sustaining a social truth is that if you, as a little person,
say a story and the story is not true, for example, then you are
going to be sued by the big supposed wronged parties, either big
corporations or powerful people. Therefore, I must say that if these
books about President George W. Bush are published and being sold
			then their stories are true.
But how come then that President Bush has a so called 90%
approval rating by the American public? Is it because of our cowed
corporate media and their propaganda? Or is it because the American
public has been too distraught after 9/11?
These are all questions we have to come to grip with, in the
meantime you can you can have a taste of the many books about
President George Bush by visiting a book web site, for example the
			Amazon web site. |
