"Chairman Arafat has agreed to a peace process. He's agreed
to the Tenet plan. He's agreed to the Mitchell plan. He has
negotiated with parties as to how to achieve peace"--president
			George Bush April 1, 2002
"Chairman Arafat has failed at leadership and he's let his
people down." president George Bush, April 6, 2002
As usual I read the morning news on the Internet and I have the
latest taste of instant democracy as CNN undertakes a publicized
non-scientific poll with the question: Should Secretary of
State Colin Powell meet with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat on his
Mideast trip? Yes__ No__ Is this the way to intelligently
educate the public or is this another brain washing effort of our
Bush & Co. administration to wage wars all over the world?
We have conflicts all over the world and our leaders Bush and
Blair get together at Bush's Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford,
Texas, to preach the gospel of peace for the Israeli-Palestinian
conflict and the gospel of war for the removal of Saddam Hussein in
Iraq. Our president Bush, and his poodle Blair, raise above all the
condemnations of the Israeli invasion of Palestine all over the
world, and point the finger of the Israeli-Palestine conflict guess
to whom? Former president Bill Clinton!
All the Palestinians and most people all over the world are
voicing their support for the Palestinian leadership of Yasser
Arafat and blessed ignorant president Bush says "He [Arafat] has
let his people down, and there are others in the region who can
lead... Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia... President Hosni
Mubarak of Egypt... King Abdullah II of Jordan."
Now, president Bush is dispatching secretary of state Colin
Powell in the Middle East to make peace while the Israeli Defense
Forces defend themselves by killing more people and we all wonder if
Colin Powell will meet with any Palestinian leader unless he meets
first with Yasser Arafat. Maybe, we have to wait for the CNN poll's
result to find out if Colin Powell will meet with Arafat.
I am wondering if the Bush's doctrine "with US or against US" is
what French people would call "merde."
