free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to
oppose what I believe wrong, and free to choose those who shall govern my
country.” - -The Rt. Hon. John Diefenbaker, Canadian Bill of Rights,

"The philosophers have only interpreted the world in various
ways; the point, however, is to change it."--Karl Marx
Now as you may express this Marx' quote then you may think how
other fundamentalist (void of critical thinking) people could label
you as a 'commuinist' or 'marxist.'
Again think how 'change' is different from 'interpretation.'
There is the need for both understanding of 'change' and
'interpretation.'
Now think about how 'change' reflects a dynamic understanding,
that is of systems thinking, and how 'interpretation' reflects a
static understanding, that is the status quo.
All these opinion polls, statistical social studies, and all this
brainwashing by TV reality shows, they are all part of our effort to
interpretate our world, and very little is being dedicated to
solving our social problems (gaps) and changing it.
