"The scandal here [Carlyle] is not what's illegal, but what's
legal"--Dan Briody
Sometime ago, as I reiterated the need of a new way of thinking
circularly rather than thinking linearly, I expressed the saying
we have met the enemy and he is us.
Today, as I see Bush&Co. invade Iraq and control its OIL while
leaving a trail of deaths, looting, insecurity and desperation, I
must rephrase the above mentioned saying as: we have met the enemy
and he is U.S. Bush&Co. along with his neo-uber-alles friends of the
Project of the New America Century who think for others, behave on
behalf of others, and in the meantime spread the American dollar
world wide to sustain the American economy.
Some years ago economist Dean Baker, co-director for the Center
of Economic and Policy Research, expressed the need for the
devaluation of the American dollar in time of peace, and now we have
experienced the devaluation of the American dollar at time of war.
But wait, the American dollar is spreading in Iraq and could be
spreading in more countries, and maybe, maybe the American economy
would find its growth again at the expense of every other country.
America would fix all the problems of this world with the New
World Order as commanded by Bush&Co., more wars, more countries with
American dollar and freedom for Bush&Co. and their neo-uber-alles
friends. Now, president Bush wants to go after any country of this
world because they have biological and chemical weapons, and he
doesn't look himself in the mirror. Yes, America is the country with
more weapons of mass destruction than any other and president Bush
has relationships with the most infamous crony capitalistic business
making money out of wars: the Carlyle group.
Investigative journalist Dan Briody has just published the book
"The Iron Triangle: Inside the Secret World of the Carlyle Group"
and he defines this triangle as the business intersection of
Washington politics, national security, and private capital, while I
would rather define the extension of this similar but bigger
triangle as Fascism, the bundling of governments, military
industrial complex and crony capitalism.
I laughed this morning as I read some excerpts of this book from
the related Amazon web pages. Briody explains how Carlyle was born
out of an Eskimo tax scam in the oil sector where business losses
were sold to other businesses. Carlyle was named as such by the
founders, political and business insiders Stephen Norris and David
Rubenstein, because the same founders were enjoying the amenities of
the Carlyle hotel while transacting losses for businesses to become
bigger profits for other businesses.
Read the stories about the Carlyle Group, and get acquainted on
how the Bush family is connected to Osama bin Laden, and why the
Carlyle Group has been called the Ex-Presidents Club, a club which
includes a string of Canadian politicians such as Frank McKenna,
former Premier of New Brunswick, and Peter Lougheed, former Premier
of Alberta. This is not a joke, former US secretary of state James
Baker and representatives of the bin Laden family were at the annual
investor conference of the Carlyle Group on September 11, 2001 held
at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C.
Today, I learn that James Baker is defending the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia against a lawsuit seeking $1 trillion in damages on behalf of
the victims of the September 11 terror attacks. I have one question:
What has happened to the so called president Bush's independent
investigation surrounding the intelligence failures before the
September 11 terrorist attack?
We are at a time of war, a war chosen by president Bush as a
weapon of mass distruction from the real culprits of the September
11 terrorist attack.
