free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to
oppose what I believe wrong, and free to choose those who shall govern my
country.” - -The Rt. Hon. John Diefenbaker, Canadian Bill of Rights,
1960

Bush's absurd war against Iraq; Friday, February 28, 2003 (story 741) |
Carolyn Parrish said words that she later apologised for but what the US
president wants to do is not something that afterward you can say "oh
sorry about that". Mario deSantis has brought us some compelling
thoughts on this issue and as usual he accompanies his remarks with six
references that need to be considered as we consider what Americans
themselves are saying about the whole situation. |
Bush's NeoConservatism: Bushels of Bushit; Saturday, March 15, 2003
(story 750) |
Peace and prosperity stem from a world where there are civilised rules
of conduct for both individuals and countries. The United States and
other countries who have chosen to ignore the International Court and
are threatening to defy the United Nations are edging the world and its
inhabitants toward disorder as they feel they have the right to ignore
what has taken centuries to develop. This short article is the
introduction to the topic spelled out in the extensive references that
support the position. |
Looking Beyond The Imperial Thinking of Uniter President Bush;
Monday, March 24, 2003 (757) |
The
peculiar stance taken by the United States as some guardian of
freedom and liberty told everyone that their invading forces would be
welcomed by the Iraqi people as liberators. Apparently this prediction
was a little optimistic. Mario deSantis shines the light of his research
on some other troubling paradoxes that seem to be emerging from the
bombastic rhetoric of the American leadership. |
Bush&Co.'s hypocrisy: the bundling fascio of God and Greed; Tuesday,
April 8, 2003 (768) |
Each day as Mario deSantis
searches through countless stories and
information and then as I go through hundreds of pictures to illustrate
the summation he writes of his research, we both are considerably
saddened by the scene we are uncovering. As I went through mid-eastern
and Asian sources tonight I was struck with the enormity of what is
going on and know that those lives lost will not be forgotten but
generations will live on to avenge their loss. This can not be good. |
